We are a dynamic team in search of a professional, skilled problem solver to join our team as a Member Services Specialist. We need an enthusiastic individual who can listen to customer service issues and then offer a unique and innovative solution to each situation. The successful candidate for this role will have a strong command of the company’s member service policies and be well-trained in product knowledge that can be critical for offering efficient and accurate assistance to our customers.

Qualification Questions

  • Answer incoming customer calls regarding insurance related billing issues, product questions, claims questions and general customer concerns
  • Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with customers and working to establish a positive rapport with every customer contact
  • Update and maintain customer information in the customer service database during and after each call
  • Work with the management team to stay updated on product knowledge and be informed of any changes in company policies
  • Impact the company’s bottom line by problem-solving and retaining customers
  • Maintain excellent time management skills and an exceptional work ethic
  • Health insurance, or medical office billing and coding experience preferred
  • HIPAA compliance knowledge
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office



  • Current Texas Life and Health License is a plus
  • English (fluent speaking and writing)
  • Bilingual (Spanish speaking and writing) is a plus
  • Previous customer service experience in the insurance industry preferred (1+ years)
